Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TubeLearn website and service operated by TubeLearn ("we," "us," or "our"). By using TubeLearn you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Description

TubeLearn is an early-stage learning tool that processes publicly available YouTube video captions to generate AI-enhanced Lessons (articles and quiz questions) from available captions. The service is provided as-is during validation and is subject to change without notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TubeLearn. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit YouTube URLs for videos you do not have the right to process or that violate YouTube's Terms of Service.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract raw captions, transcripts, or AI outputs in bulk from TubeLearn.
  • Use TubeLearn to generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or other technical measures.
  • Use the service for commercial redistribution of generated lesson content without our written consent.

4. YouTube and Third-Party Platforms

TubeLearn retrieves publicly available captions via the YouTube Data API. Use of the service is also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC.

5. AI-Generated Content

Study guides, quizzes, and related content are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. TubeLearn is a supplementary learning tool — it does not replace authoritative sources, instructors, or professional advice. You are responsible for verifying important information before acting on it.

6. Intellectual Property

The TubeLearn name, brand, and software are owned by TubeLearn. AI-generated lesson content derived from a YouTube video is generated for your personal study use only. We do not claim ownership over the source video or its captions, which remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.

7. Early Access and Pro Waitlist

Joining the waitlist or clicking a Pro CTA does not create a contract or obligation on either side. We do not collect payment during the validation phase. Pro features described on the website are a demand-validation test — they are not yet built and availability is not guaranteed.

8. Disclaimers

TubeLearn is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of AI outputs, or availability of any specific video's captions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TubeLearn and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue any part of TubeLearn at any time without notice. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which TubeLearn operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
